How would you like to have access to a tennis court and other facilities seven days a week, 365 days a year?
For just $150 (Adult) or $285 for a family, Woodend Tennis Club members have unlimited access to our courts, except at times of competition, coaching or club use, for 12 months. And critically, membership allows the club to continue to offer great services and maintain the quality facilities. Members are registered with Tennis Victoria through My Tennis, which takes care of insurance and gives everyone peace of mind.
Membership will also give you access into our competitions and our club championships. Those wanting to play competition tennis will pay an extra $55 competition fee per season. Comp fees cover all costs incurred when entering teams for match play including entry fees, ball purchases, lights, sundry clubhouse supplies and the ball boys and girls (OK, we’re still working on the ball kids.)
So if you’ve got a little bit of white line fever, head over to our competitions page – we can’t promise you’ll win a pennant but you’ll ace something (even if it is just lunch).
Becoming a member of WTC will also see you make some new friends, get fitter, receive regular newsletters and get invited to various social functions with your fellow tennis ‘peeps’!
We think this is great value, as we aim to increase participation in tennis and give people another avenue to be active and healthy in our local community.
Woodend Tennis Club Membership Rates
All membership fees are payable through your My Tennis account and must be paid via debit/credit card before the start of each season or competition.
Single – $150 (Early Bird Discount of $15 before 31 October)
Individual membership, allowing unlimited court access outside competition, coaching and club requirements. Voting rights and personal accident insurance.
Family – $285 (Early Bird Discount of $25 before 31 October)
Membership for two or more family members. Family members must reside at the same address. Can include all children under 18 or full time students. Voting rights (to those over 18) and personal accident insurance for all family members.
Junior – $80 (Early Bird Discount of $5 before 31 October)
Full use of courts and personal accident insurance for members less than 18 years old.
Please note you can join Woodend Tennis Club at any time of the year and be charged a reduced pro-rata fee for the remaining part of the year.
Club Competition fees are at $55 per person for Mid-Week Ladies Comp, Thursday Night Open Comp and Saturday Comp.
The Woodend Tennis Club has an ongoing commitment to protecting our members and throughout the rest of 2018 and beyond you will see an increased focus on Member Protection and Child Safety. The Woodend Tennis Club has a new Member Protection Policy as recommended by Tennis Australia. A hard copy of this policy can be found in the kitchen at the club or is available on the Tennis Australia Website tennis.com.au.
